feature game (Bonus Play) iona -2½
well, as you can see, i'm fading fairfield again. this is now here 9th straight road game and 5th road game in only 11 days. they started the season 7-1 su and ats but the road trip really fatigued them and they are only 1-5 since. there only win in last 6 games came against elon, a team who lost its previous three games by 17+ pts. and in last two games, fairfield blew there lead to lose once in ot, and once in 2 nd half. obviously, this is a tired basketball team.and they are playing vs revenge, just before a huge revenge game at manhattan. in both of there last two reg.season games where they had a revenge game vs manhattan on deck, they lost as favs. as for iona, they just won there first road game of the season and now they will try to win the btb games for the first time this season as well. they are favs here against a better ranked team and for a good reason, i think. they are 10-2 su in last 12 home games, as well as 16-4 in last 20. fairfield is 1-5 su and 0-5 ats on the road lately. this is a sandwich home game for farfield, of a two game road trip, and before another two games road trip. in isolated home games, iona is 6-1 su and 5-2 ats lately. and finally, iona will try to revenge a home loss here, and they are 5-0 su and 4-1 ats in last 5 home revnge games, improving on average by 18 ppg. fairfild lost there last 2 road games vs revenge both su and ats, falling short of there first meeting performance by 17½ ppg. iona is 7-3 in last 10 at home vs fairfield as well as 4-1 in last 5 revenge games vs fairfield.
